LEAGUE IN ENGLAND
From Our Oxen Correspondent HUNTLY, Today. According to latest files from Lancashire, Ellaby and XVoods are the leaders in the League scoring records. The figures are as follow: Ellaby, 31; XVoods, 28; L. Brown, 27; O’Rourke, 25; Ring, 24; I-larclgrave, 23; Smith. 21; XVills, 21. It will thus be seen that the New Zealanders Brown and Hardgrave are keeping their ends up. Alay 3 will see the cup final at XYembley and interest was never keener. XVriting under date of Alarch 14, a St. Helens paper states that “the St. Helens team to travel to Salford on Saturday once again includes Hardgrave, whose term of suspension ended on Saturday last.”
