For the fifth consecutive year, E. B. E. Taylor (Canterbury) won the threemile inter-varsity championship at the athletic sports on Monday. He has also won the mile on four occasions. With all these wins, Taylor’s rivals will heave a sigh of relief in knowing that, having represented his varsity for five years, he cannot compete again.
