RABBIT SKIN MARKET

Dalgety *and Co., Ltd., report on a rabbitskin sale held on April 15 as follow: “Skins are still coming to hand slowly, although the total offering at today’s sale was larger than at last sale. There was again very keen competition for all grades, and prices were Id higher for summers, milky, and low grades, and 2d a lb higher for racks and autumns. There was good demand for fresh autumns on American account. This is a good sign for the prospects for winter skins, and we now think there is every chance of trapping again being quite payable during this season. The follo.wing is the range of prices: Runners, to 173 d a lb; summers, 16d; light racks, 29id; prime racks, 26id; dawny autumns, 26id; early autumns, 28id: summer broken, 14d; autumn broken, to 203 d; summer blacks, 17d; autumn, 24d; summer fawns, 24»d: small. 94d: milky, 16d; hareskins, 12id; horsehair, 18£d.
