AUCTIONEERS’ REPORTS Stock auctioneers report as follow: j Alfred Buekland and Sons. Limited, report:—During the week we held ; cattle sales at Westfield and Runciman j and a pig sale at Waiuku. About the 1 usual number of cattle were yarded, j and sold at ruling values. Best dairy cows and heifers at profit made £ll to £ls ss: second grade, £8 to £lO 17s 6d; aged and inferior cows and small heifers. £4 to £7 17s 6d; empty young cows and heifers, £3 to £4 10s; store and honor cows. £3 to £5 ss; fat cows and heifers, £5 os to £0 7s 6d; fat steers t £lO 10s to £l2 10s; three to four-year-old steers, £8 10s to £ 9 10s; two to three-year-old steers, £7 to £8 10s; yearling to two-year-old steers, £5 5s to £7; weaner steers, £2 15s to £3 15s; weaner heifers, £2 10s to £4 3s; 18-month to two-year-old dairy heifers in calf, £6 10s to £ 9 10s; other 18-months heifers, £3 10s to £ 0 ss; cows with calves, £0 to £9 10s; heavy bulls, £7 to £9 7s 6d; sound young herd bulls, £4 4s to £8 8s; other bulls, £1 10s to £4. There was an average yarding of pigs at Waiuku, and prices realised were similar to those ruling at Westfield last week.
