STRIKE EASIER
TOKYO CAR OPERATORS ARE RETURNING TO WORK COLLAPSE APPROACHING Reed. 9.5 a.m. TOKYO, Wednesday. Four thousand street-car strikers at Tokyo returned to work this morning. The situation at Kobe is reported to be improving, indicating the approaching collapse of the transport strike. This is due to the firmness of the authorities coupled with the immense extent of unemployment and the difficulties of those without jobs.
