SMITH AND SHIERS
REACH SINGAPORE ON FLIGHT TO ENGLAND HOP FROM SOURABAYA BATAVIA. Tuesday. The New South Wales airmen, Smith and Shiers, who are engaged in a flight from Australia to England in the monoplane City of Sydney, arrived at Weltevreden, Java, last night from Sourabaya. The fliers left again at 7.35 a.m. today for Singapore and safely reached that destination.
