J. FRYER’S TEAM
TO REMAIN AT ELLERSLIE The efforts of J. Fryer to turn out winners at the recent meeting at Ellerslie met with a great deal of successs, and with four horses —namely, Airtight, Green Linnet, Paitonu, and Bright Glow —it was only the last which failed to get on the winning list, and, by way of some compensation. the mare registered a third. The quartet have taken no harm from their racing, and the Hawera mentor will have them at the Avondale meeting on Saturday. They are still located at Ellerslie, and will remain there until the return trip home. The Hawera' contingent is a strong all-round combination, and .should prove capable of gaining further success at Avondale. Bright Glow and Linnet especially have nice prospects, for while the former was unlucky not to do better than third in the Autumn Handicap at Ellerslie, Green Linnet won under difficulties.
