JUMPING SEASON APPROACHES
WANGANUI NOMINATIONS TOMORROW Following on the winter fixture of the Egmont Racing Club, the winter meeting of the Wanganui Jockey Club will be held at Wanganui on Thursday and Saturday. Alav 15 and 17. The Wanganui fixture is the first of the big jumping meetings of the winter season, and is the prelude to the Great Northern meeting at Ellerslie early in June. Nominations for all events at Wanganui close at eight o’clock tomorrow (Thursday) night.
