WEDDING AT WAIUKU

IVORY TOILETTE WITH TOUCHES OF PINK GRANT—BARNABY A wedding of considerable' interest was celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, Waiuku, on Wednesday evening, April 18, when Miss Emily Barnaby, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Barnaby, of Waiuku, was married to Mr. N. C. Grant, of Auckland. The Rev. Mr. Morris officiated. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of white georgette over pale pink relieved with silver, the skirt falling to a pointed hemline. Her veil of brussels lace was caught to her head with a circlet of orange blossoms, and she carried a bouquet of pink flowers. The bridesmaid, Aliss Grant; sister of the groom, was daintily frocked in turquoise blue georgette, beaded in silver with a pointed liemline and lier head-dress was a beautiful close-fit-ting cap of silver and blue. She carried a bouquet of pale pink flowers. Air. Grant, brother of the groom, was best man and Air. J. Hill acted as usher. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, where Airs. Barnaby, who wore a black silk georgette frock, received the guests. The bridegroom’s mother was frocked in black velvet and wore a grey coat, with a hat of mauve and grey. She carried a bouquet to tone. The grandmother of the bride was present and wore a black silk frock and black bonnet, and carried a bouquet.
