Canterbury won the shield by one point from Victoria University College. The pictures show, top: The 120 yards hurdles in progress. The event was won by F. S. Ramson (Victoria). Lower: The start of the 100 yards secondary Schools’ championship. R. G. Eade, of Takapuna Grammar (nearest camera), won in 10 3-ssec.
