GREY LYNN CINEMA

Seven snappy song successes are presented in this vivid melange of melody and laughter, replete with gorgeous spectacles, “Broadway Scandals, 1930,” now showing at the Grey Lyjij Cinema. Each and every one of the seven is a catchy number which lingers in the memory. Perhaps the most popular number is “Does an Elephant Love Peanuts?” on account of its comedy. This is sung by little Sajly O’Neil and Jack Egan. The lyrics in “What is Life Without Love?” and “Rhythm of the Tambourine" are both exceptionally catchy. Richard Arlen, together with Mary Brian, will step from one Western to another. Following the completion of “The Light of Western Stars,” they will start work on “The Border Legion,” another Zane Grey story. „ “Sally,” starring Marilyn Miller, ‘Broadway’s dancing beauty,” is made entirely in Technicolour, every scene being photographed in its natural hues. It is said to he one of the most beautiful pictures ever screened.

“Dangerous Nan McGrew,” talkin and singing screen comedy, featurin Helen Ivane, has gone into productio at the Paramount studios. Stuar Erwin and James Hall have the lead ing roles opposite Miss Kane.
