HIGH SCHOOL JUBILEE
CELEBRATIONS IN TIMARU Press Association TIMARU, Monday. . Several hundred former pupils of the Timaru Boys’ and Girls' High Schools have assembled at Timaru to celebrate the golden jubilee of the schools. Ihe proceedings have been marked "Hb the greatest enthusiasm. The programme commenced on Saturday with reunions of old boys and old girls. On Sunday a jubilee service was attended by over 1,500 past and present pupils. The officia l ceremony and roll calls were held this morning at the girls’ school, w lien tliousands were present programme was unfortunately abandoned owing to rain.
