MAUI POMARE ARRIVES
SAMOAN POLICE ABOARD CARGO IN GOOD CONDITION From Our Own Correspondent DUNEDIN, Today. One day ahead of schedule, the Maui Pomare arrived in Dunedin yesterday from Apia and Niue with 17 passengers and a full cargo of bananas. The fruit was in splendid condition. The vessel sailed this afternoon for Lyttelton. Wellington and Auckland to complete discharge. Among the passengers were • eiglii members of the Samoan Police Force, under the command of Sergeant R. H Waterson. They are returning to their homes in the North Island after over a year’s service in Samoa.
