DRAUGHTS CHAMPIONSHIP
PLAY IN INVERCARGILL Press Association INVERCARGILL, Sunday. The Dominion draughts tournament v/as continued yesterday, when a further six games were played by most of the competitors. The fact that 19 Players are taking part in the tournament has made a bye necessary in each round and some players have consequently not completed all their games. the six games played yesterday kome very keen contests were witnessed, the most sensational play of day being the defeat of J. Lucas, of Dunedin, a former champion, by D. 1 alderwood. of Hamilton, the present champion. J. Boreham, of Dunedin, a former champion, now shares first Place with Calderwood.
