THE URGE TO WRITE
Gladys Bronivyn Stern, who in private life is Mrs. Geoffrey Holdsworth, of Ligure, Italy, confesses that she felt the urge to write when she was only eight, although it was not until she was 24 that her first book was published. Since then she has written 16 books, among them “The Happy Meddler,” which has had a large sale. She completed her education at a high school, and attributes her success to “sheer push.”
