TARIFF AND TRADE
SIR REGINALD TUCK S VISIT BUSINESS IN NEW ZEALAND Tariff and trade conditions in Australia and New Zealand are of particular interest just now to Sir Reginald Tuck, a director of the firm of Raphael Tuck and Sons, who arrived from London by the Maunganui this morning. Ld#iy Tuck, who is a daughter of Mr. N. Alfred Nathan, arrived recently to visit her people, an# to be present with other members of the family at Mr. Nathan's SOtli birthday. Sir Reginald’s firm has been established in the Christmas card and toy making business for many years and commands a large overseas trade. One of the purposes of Sir Reginald’s tour is to investigate tariff conditions and their effect upon his firm’s business. “Where trade is affected.” said Sir Reginald, “it may be necessary for us to manufacture in the countries concerned. We have been doing a good trade with New* Zealand for the past thirty or forty years and naturally aa'O do not want to lose it.”
