COMMISSION TO HEAR EVIDENCE DIRECT ACCESS WANTED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The following is the personnel of tho commission which about the middle of May will begin the work of taking evidence regarding the best means of giving access to the sea from Christchurch: — Sir Walter Stringer, retired judge of the Supreme Court, president; Mr. Drummond Holderness, civil and harbour engineer of Auckland; Mr. William Morley, formerly general manager of Mason, Struthers, Ltd., Christchurch.
