PLAYING AREAS INSPECTED Arrangements have been made for weighing junior teams in the Auckland Rugby Union’s competitions at the Drill Plall on April 23, 24 and 28. * The junior management board will meel; as usual on Tuesday next and the management committee on Wednesday, irrespective of the holiday season. Both bodies have a lot of work to get through before the start of the season. Over 100 footballs will be distributed among schools after Easter. The grounds committee made its first tour of inspection of the playing areas yesterday.

MATCH POSTPONED

Word was received last evening from tho Huntly Club secretary that owing to *his being unable to get in touch with players the match against Grafton third grade team has been postponed to April 26. The game had been set down for Saturday next.
