AFTERNOON PARTY FOR HOLIDAY-MAKER MRS. P. B. ROSS ENTERTAINS FOR DAUGHTER Mrs. J*. B. Ross gave an afternoon tea in the J.C.L. tearooms on Tuesday, in honour of her daughter, Miss Dorothy Ross, who is leaving on Saturday for an extended trip to Suva. Mrs. Ross was gowned in brown embossed velvet with brown hat and furs. Miss Dorothy Ross wore a navy satin frock with navy hat and fox furs. Among those present were:—Mrs. Tanner, Airs. Irvine. Mrs. Corbett, Airs. Ingram. Airs. Lockwood, Airs. Virtue, Airs. Hemming, Aliss Corbett.
