OLD MAN’S DEATH Press Association TIMARU, "Wednesday. - An inquest was held today concerning the death of Mr. George Graves, aged 75, who died at the Timaru Hospital as the result of injuries received through being knocked down by a cyclist who, it was alleged, had been riding on the footpath at night without a light. Subsequently Walter Smith, aged 20, was charged in the Magistrate's Court with manslaughter. Accused pleaded not guilty and was committed for trial.
