IMMORTAL GOLD
INGOTS FOR AUSTRALIA COVETOUS ONLOOKERS Gold ingots being loaded on to a lorry from the National Bank of New Zealand this afternoon looked alluring. About £20,000 was represented , i 20 or so bars in a shipment for Australia. The consignment, which was merel >- one of many during the course of a year, consisted of bullion won in New Zealand. A small crowd gathered and evert - one broke the 10th commandment, which had to do with covetousness. The economist in the group scattered a little wisdom. “Pity this stuff is going out of the country. We need all we can get here,” he said wistfully.
