FLEET OF SEAPLANES
ROME-NEW YORK TRIP NOW PLANNING CRUISERS FOR RESCUE Reed. 11.50 a.m. ROME, Wednesday. Plans are advancing for a flight from Rome to New York of 12 seaplanes. Thirty pilots are training and 12 are already selected. Two cruisers and six destroyers are to be stationed between the Azores and New York for rescue purposes if the planes are forced down. It is expected the flight will com mence In the autumn.
