CRYSTAL PALACE, MOUNT EDEN
The adventures of a girl gambler, who attempted to wreak vengeance on a man against whom she had a grievance, form the theme of “Mexicali Rose,” which is being shown at the Crystal Palace Theatre from this evening. Barbara Stanwyck gives a convincing portrayal as the fascinating, dangerous heroine, and she is supported by Sam Hardy and a well-selected cast. The supporting features include a sound gazette and talking and singing items.
