DRAW FOR OPENING GAMES From Our Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Today. Tho weekly meeting of the Rotorua Rugby Union was held last evening. Mr. T. S. Robertson presided. The following entries were received for tho seven-a-side tournament: Ngongotaha, two junior teams; Cadet Old Boys (Tauranga), one senior team* Kahukura, one senior and one junioi team; Waikite, two senior, one junior Waiariki, two senior; Public Works, one senior; Mamaku, one senior, one junior; Walton, one senior; City, one senior, one junior. A motion that, until instructions were received from the Bay of Plenty Union, the International Rugby Union rules be played, was carried, an amendment that the amended rules be continued being lost. It was decided that junior players be weighed on the ground on April 26. Four teams entered for the third grade competition:—High School A and B, City and High School Old Boys. Following is the draw for the opening day (April 26): Seniors.—City v. Waiariki, No. 3 ground; Mamaku v. Waikite, at Mamaku; Kahukura v. Public Works, No. 1 ground. Juniors.—Waikite v. Mamaku, No. 2 ground, 2.45 p.m.; Ngongotaha v. City, No. 1 ground, 1.15; Kahukura v. High School, No. 3 ground, 1.15. Third Grade.—City Old Boys, No. 2 ground, 1.15; High School A v. High School B, at High School. Mr. T. S. Robertson was elected chairman of committees. MANUKAU ROVERS CLUB Tho Manukau Rovers senior and fourth grade teams leave at 9 a.m. on Saturday to play Frankton at Hamilton for the Williams-Syers Shield The teams will be selected from the following: Seniors.—Poynter, Satherley (2), Wilson, Pile, Taylor, Reweti, aSimmonds, Brimble (2), Davies, Laird, St George, Kereopa, Pepper, Dickson.
