PARACHUTE DESCENT FROM 3,000 FEET UP TWO PILOTS ESCAPE DEATH British Official Wireless RUGBY, Sunday. Two Royal Air Force pilots, FlyingOfficers Percy and Brake, had a remarkable escape from death today. Their machines were travelling at a high speed, when they collided at an altitude of 3,000 ft. near Chichester. Both men made safe descents by parachutes and landed In a ploughed field. Percy escaped apparently unscratched, but Brake suffered a broken arm and severe cuts on the face.
