LABOUR GOES OUT
CONTROL OF CITY COUNCIL IN CHRISTCHURCH CITIZENS’ PARTY IN POWER Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The offer of the Labour representatives on the City Council to relinquish the reins of office was accepted by representatives of the Citizens’ Association at last evening’s meeting of the council. Until the next meeting of the council, however, all committees as at present constituted will function, and in the meantime a sub-committee will prepare recommendations as to the personnel of the new committees.
