NO ARGUMENT
“Argument” writes: “Could you tell i me whether there is any rule bearing on the question of right of way of rowboats and sailing boats? “The circumstances were that I was in my row-boat fishing when I finally pulled up anchor and was preparing to pull away when I was hit a lia'*d glancing blow by a 16-footer sailing in i stiff breeze whose helmsman didn’t see me until the collision and then ’rated’ me for not getting out of his way.” You win. There is no argument about it, unless you happened to be fishing in those areas prohibited bv the Auckland Harbour Board. If that . were the case (by you address it would hardly seem so.) then you deserve all you got. In the circumstances you outline, the blame lies entirely with the yachtsman for failure to maintain a proper lookout. He was, so to speak, under power and should have , watched what he was doing.
