GIRL STRUCK DEAD ON ENGLISH HEATH MAN ARRESTED LONDON, Saturday. An extraordinary murder was committed at Dartford Heath near London. KYelyn Parker, aged 23, was walking with her younger sister Joan across the heath when a man sprang out from some bushes. He pushed Joan aside and stabbed the elder girl in the back. The knife penetrated the victim’s heart. The man instantly disappeared. A search by a large force of policemen, detectives* and civilians resulted in the discovery of the knife in tne bushes. Subsequently Albert Edward Margeram, of Belvedere, was detained at Erith. He was charged with the mur der, and was remanded until April 17. When asked to plead accused said: “I am very sorry it occurred. I never intended to commit murder.”
