“KITCHEN SHOWER”
MRS. ARTHUR GRIFFITHS IS HOSTESS AT JOLLY PARTY BRIDE-ELECT HONOURED An enjoyable party was given by Mrs. Arthur Griffiths, of her residence in Owens Road, last Thursday, in honour of Miss Gladys Grayson, who is to be married at Easter. The bride-to-be wore a charming frock of mist-blue ninon and lace, and was the recipient of a cliina “shower” from her girl friends. Airs. Arthur Griffiths received her guests in a black lace gown relieved with a pink velvet shoulder posy. Two amusing one-act plays were given, a humorous sketch by Alisses I. and X. Targuse, and music was supplied by Airs. J. R. Robertson. Competition prizes were won by Alisses L. Armitage, AI. Kemble and D. Badcock. Among the guests were Alesdames Grayson, Alatthews, Len Griffiths, Ovens and Robertson, and Alisses G Grayson, AX. and I. Targuse, L. Armitage, D. Alesser, I). Badcock, K. Teape, R. Pearce. E. Bruce, B Aledwin, R. Gourdie, AI. Horn, X. Arcßoberts, R. Ovens, AI. Kemble and X. Kemble.
