He was picked up in an unconscious condition and removed to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition this morning is regarded as fairly serious, i Alt'. White was proceeding along Ponsonby Road and the taxi was cross- , in g the intersection at Mackelvie - Street when the accident occurred. ■ His machine struck the rear of the taxi * and ho was thrown heavily to the ground.
