FALL ON BROKEN BOTTLE From Our Own Correspondent WAIUKU, Sunday. n A painful accident befel Mrs. J. T. e | Hair on Saturday morning. Mrs. Hair s | was filling a preserving bottle with t ! water, which was hotter than was anticipated. and had to drop the bottle. e , In jumping clear Mrs. Hair slipped - and fell heavily on the broken bottle. I Her left wrist was severely cut, and J J she was removed to the Franklin Memorial Hospital. It was found that | the majority of the tendons, nerves 1 and blood vessels had been severed. and an operation was necessary. Hast . evening her condition was reported to \ be satisfactory. >
