FOUND IN BOARDING-HOUSE

The death of TYilliam McKiernan. aged 41, who was found unconscious in his bed at a city boardinghouse shortly after 7 o’clock on Tuesday morning, April 8. occurred at the Auckland Hospital at about 2.30 this morning. Tho discovery was made, by on© of the maids, who went to call Mr. McKiernan for breakfast. It is stated that th© influx of gas was accidental, owing to the plug from a disused gas connection having come out durinp the night. He was removed to the hospital.

An inquest will b© opened todav before Mr. F. Iv. Hunt. S.M., coroner
