DICKENS FELLOWSHIP
SATISFACTORY PROGRESS Satisfaction with last season's session, increasing membership and interest, and greater activity, is expressed in the report submitted at the fourth annual meeting of the Auckland Dickens’ Fellowship held on Thursday evening. The retiring president, the Rev. A. B. Chappell, presided over an attendance of nearly 50. Appreciation was expressed of the services of the retiring president, who had occupied that position since the society’s inception. Officers were elected as follow:—President, Mrs. Kennth Gordon; vice-pre-sidents. Miss Statham. Messrs TV K Arey, T. Clarkson, G. G. Grant. C. Kidson and I*'. S. T. Little; secretary, Mrs. K. H. Culpan: treasurer. Mr. .7 W Kealy; committee, Mrs. TV. R. M. Free Miss Robinson, Rev. A. B. Chappell’ Messrs. Preston, Chambers and TV. s. ‘ST 1 * uditor ’ Mr. c.
