SEPOY’S SIXTH VICTIM
KING DISTRESSED BY SHIP’S EXPLOSION DISASTER AT HONGKONG Brill: 1 1 Official Wireless RUGBY, Wednesday. The First Lord of the Admiralty, Mr. A. V. Alexander, has received a message from the King expressing his Majesty’s distress at the disastrous explosion on board the destroyer Sepoy at Hong-Kong which resulted in the loss of valuable lives. His Majesty desired his heartfelt sympathy to be conveyed to the bereaved families and inquiries to be made on his behalf about the condition of the injured. The Admiralty announces the death of another of the injured men. This makes the sixth life lost.
