Wellington, was farewedled recently by the ciu In making a presentation of an cm clock with a silver plate bearing ‘ crest of the club, and a life-membe ' badge, and expressing the apprecMtion of the dub for the services re dered by Mr. Dicker as president from 1921 to 1930, Mr. D. Hunter said he insure lie was expressing the univenM' regret of the members of the club c the coming departure of Mr. and MrsDicker. Mr. Dicker had been _ a 'tractive worker in the club’s interes and its present strength was to a vet large extent due to the efficacy of tia control of the club by the departing president.
