ACTOR-CLERGYMAN
SHAKESPEARIAN PLAYER PREACHES AT ST. MATTHEW’S Before his ordination the Rev. Walter Bentley, of New York, who will preach m St. Matthew’s Church on Sunday evening, was for many years a prominent Shakespearian actor. Bentley is president of the National Shakespeare Foundation and founder of the Actors’ Church Alliance. He has conducted missions in England. India and Australia, and recently held a most successful mission at St. Luke 5. Christchurch. Mr. Bentley is an eloquent preacher j tnd a zealous missioner. He will j shortly conduct a mission at St. thew’s. the date to be decided on «*■ arrival from Rotorua tomorrow.
