AUCKLAND CIRCUIT S MEETING After a prolonged discussion on youth work, the Auckland Central Methodist Circuit has expressed the opinion that the church jyould devote greater attention to the religious training of youth. The quarterly meeting, which was held in the Pitt Street Church, was presided over by the Rev. W. Walker. The finances were reported to be in a satisfactory condition, and there had been an increase in membership. The thanks of the circuit were offered the Rev. H. H. Jeffreys for his services in Sandringham and Roskill during the past two years. A report regarding the arrangements for the provision of increased accommodation at the Mount Roskill Church was received, and pleasure was expressed at the reception accorded three addition.*!] local preachers, Messrs. T. Bailey, C. E. Roke and J. W. Patterson.
