COMPENSATION INQUIRY
SUPPORT FOR COMMITTEE Press A.ssociaton WELLINGTON, NVednesday. Further support for the committee which is investigating the operation of the Workers’ Compensation Act is reported. Tomorrow evidence will be given by Mr. L. Mcllvride, general secretary of the Amalgamated Society of Kailway Servants, on behalf of over 9.000 members, all of whom come under the Act. Representatives of the New Zealand Dairy Farmers' Union, the Mew Zealand Farmers’ Union, the Department of Health, oil companies, and Messrs. If. J. Reardon and P. J. O'Regan, of Wellington, liaro addressed the committee. The committee resumed its deliberations today, and will continue its sittings until further notice.
