CINDER TRACK RACING

FINAL OF NORTON CUP Interest will centre chiefly around the final contest for the Norton Cup at Western Springs Stadium on Saturday evening. Tom Butler is in the lead and it will indeed be a difficult task for Alf Mattson, the nearest competitor in points, to add sufficient to his total to give him the trophy. Butler holds two miniatures as winner of the first and second series. The second series of contests for the Hudson-Essex Cup for B grade riders will also be run off. Butler is in the lead for this trophy also. There will be a number of special match races which should provide excellent broadsiding.
