CYCLING AND RUNNING
SPORTS AT WESTERN SPRINGS The Auckland Centre of the New Zealand Union of Cyclists will hold a sports meeting at Western Springs Stadium on Easter Saturday. The cycling events are:—House Cup, a five-mile handicap; Pascoe Cup. a twomile handicap; and a half-mile handicap in which it is expected a New Zealand competition record will be established. The Papatoetoe Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club has accepted an invitation to send officials to control the running events, which comprise events over 100 yards, 220 yards and 880 yards. Entries for all events close next Saturday.
