the pen-name of “Phaeton.” and in September it will be 50 years since he first wrote under that nom-de-plume. There arc now 16 life members of the club. They are:—Sir Edwin Atitehelson, president: Mr. H. O. .Nolan, vice-president: Sir George t lifront, president of the Racing Conference. Messrs Moss Davis, R. W. Duder. P. Earl, K.C.. R. E. Isaacs. M. M McCallum, Harold L. Nathan, N. A. Nathan. O. Nicholson, E. A. Price. John Rowe, C. Swanson, A. E. Whitaker and A. D. Bruce.
