FIG JAM
Try this recipe:—Take 6 cups of figs, 5 cups of sugar, 5 cups of water and 3 slices of pineapple. Bring the water and sugar to the boil and have ready the figs and pineapples, cut into small pieces. Put into the boiling syrup and boil for two hours. When cool, bottle and seal, making sure that the bottles are airtight.
