FATED SPOT

SCENE OF FORMER TRAGEDY NEW YORK, Saturday. A double Hying fatality occurred today. Two wealthy veteran air pilots. Messrs. McAllister and Hunter, were just finishing a two days’ journey from Los Angeles when their huge monoplane crashed as they attempted to land. Both men were burned to death. The nose of the machine was buried in the earth at the exact spot where eight army airmen were killed several years ago.
