AVONDALE WEDDING
BRIDE IN GOLD SATIN BLAKE—DIMANT The Rev. Knowles Kempton performed the ceremony when Lila, eldest daughter of the late Mr. E. Dimant, of Melbourne, was married to James, third son of the late Air. and Mrs. Blake, of Pukekohe, at the Avondale Methodist Church on Saturday afternoon. The bride, who was given away by Air. Herbert Kitchen, wore a pretty frock of embroidered gold satin with a flared skirt. Tiny frills in a lighter shade of georgette outlined the scalloped edged hem. She wore a hat of gold straw trimmed with a large rose at one side, and her bouquet was of autumn-tinted flowers. Aliss Evelyn Blake, who was bridesmaid, wore a frock of primrose crepe de chine, with a cape collar of georgette. The flounced skirt, which dipped at the back, was trimmed with primrose silk lace. Her large crinoline hat toned with her frock and she carried a bouquet of autumn-shaded flowers. The best man was Air. Robert Duns-
