MINISTER AT OTAHUHU

FAREWELL SERVICE HELD On the eve of his departure for Linwood, Christchurch, to which change he has been transferred, the Rev. F. Greenwood, Methodist Minister at Otahuhu, conducted farewell services yesterday. A large gathering was held in the Otahuhu Memorial Hajl last week when Mr. A. Trenwith, on behalf of the congregation presented Mr. Greenwood with a cheque. In making the presentation Mr. Trenwith referred to the advance of the circuit, the strong position of its finances and the harmony existing throughout the district. CHURCH NAME CHANGED The Edendale Presbyterian Church will in future be called the Balmoral Presbyterian Church, Sandringham. The change was decided on at a meeting after the morning service yesterday. This name was decided on because the church, although it is within the Sandringham district, is in Balmoral Road.
