“CHAMPION THIEF”

ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT A young American, John Albert Samuelson, described by the police as ”a champion sneak thief,” was sent to Mount Eden Gaol for a month by Mr. F. K. Levien, S.M., at the Onehunga Police Court this morning. Accused, on remand, was charged with having stolen a motoring coat valued at 30s and a motor clock valued at 17s 6d. He had pawned them for 7s 6d.
