DEATH BY ACCIDENT
HEAD STRUCK BY BUMPER At an inquest yesterday afternoon, j the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., j found that Mansell Henry Edmund • Hill, aged 17, who died on March 27 j from head injuries received when a motor-car he was cleaning slipped from its jacks, received fatal injuries accidentally, while at work. The youth was employed at the residence of Mr. T. R. Brett, of Parnell. Mr. Brett, in evidence, said deceased had left the car, which was on sloping ground, in second gear. When the car slipped off the jacks, part of i the bumper struck Mr. Hill. The medical evidence said death was | due to cerebral compression.
