POWER BOARD ELECTION

NOMINATION OF MEMBERS Nominations for the election of 12 members of the Auckland Power Board close on Thursday, April 17. The present members will resign their seats, in accordance with the Auckland Electric-Power Board Act, this month, and the election will be held on April 30. As all the present members had signified their intention of seeking reelection and in addition Mr. W. H. Murray, member of the City Council and formerly a member of the Auckland Harbour Board, is offering himself, an election will be necessary. The present chairman, Mr. W. J. Holdsworth, and a majority of the members have retained their seats since the constitution of the board on April 1, 1922.
