POLICE PRESENTATIONS

CONSTABLE COLLINS’S TRANSFER Constable T. J. Collins, who has been transferred to Te Kuiti from Auckland, was presented with a set of silver teaspoons and silver cake forks yesterday. The constable had been connected for the last seven years with the Queen’s Wharf Police Station. Sergeant N. J. Angland made the presentation on behalf of Constable Collins’s wharf police colleagues. The sergeant referred to the departing constable’s service and comradeship during his stay here, and wished him every success.
