REHABILITATION OF EX-SOLDIERS REPORT DELAYED l p i-css Association WELLINGTON, Todax Publication of the report of the KxSoldiers’ Rehabilitation Commission, bearing on the subject of economic pensions, has been delayed chiefly owing to the Minister of Defence, tbe Hon. J. G. Cobbe, being obliged to visit Samoa. Tbe report covers 71 pages, and as the recommendations of the committee are of great importance and. if carried out in entirety, will Involve a large increase in expenditure by the Pensions Department, which has now submitted its report to the Minister, recommendations are being considered. Later they will be reported on by the Reparations Board of tbe StaH Advances Department. As soon as the latter report is received tbe matter will be considered by Cabinet, after whip-h the report will be released for publication.
